EGT/CHT/TIT/OIT Indicators

The following instructions describe the installation of the Horizon Instruments, Inc. Model 336 Electronic Aircraft Temperature (TIT, OIT, EGT, and CHT) Indicator.

The indicator includes circuitry necessary to read a J and K type thermocouple and will display temperature in degrees either Fahrenheit or Celsius.

The indicator is built to meet or exceed the requirements of TSO-C43C, Class II with respect to accuracy and performance.

The Temperature Indicator Display Layout:

The Temperature Indicator displays temperature as measured by a K type thermocouple. The temperature measurement is always displayed on the digital display in 1 degree resolution, and is scaled to fit the graphic display as appropriate for the type of temperature measurement being made. the following table lists the graphic range calibration for various temperature functions.
